Designed for Beeaty, an environmentally focused satellite TV channel, this custom Arabic typeface was developed to support the station’s weather programming. The design combined geometric clarity with a soft, broadcast-friendly tone, creating a distinct visual voice for environmental data and on-screen motion graphics. After the channel ceased operations, the typeface was made publicly available with the network’s approval. Over time, it gained unexpected traction, spreading across digital media, social platforms, and outdoor campaigns. Originally built for a specific broadcast use case, the font has since become one of the early examples of freely distributed Arabic type design to achieve wide, organic adoption.
